It is a small village in Garhwal Region, Uttarakhand, India which is mainly popular for trekking enthusiasts as a base camp for Tungnath and Chandrashila trek.

Located in the Garhwal region, close to the border of Himanchal Pradesh Chakrata is a cantonment town in the Dehradun district in the state of Uttarakhand, India. The place is settled between the River Tons and the Yamuna and set up at an altitude of 2133 m above the sea level

Harsil

This place is situated on the banks of River Bhagirathi in Uttarkashi District and is untouched gem of Uttarakhand which has least commercialization and full of solitude and serenity which makes it a perfect place for tourists to relax and rejuvenate.
